Today, in this world, hope seems to be a foreign word. You don't hear a lot of people speak on the word hope, the main reason hope is used for is when someone is hoping to get something. "I hope I get to eat my favorite food tonight. I hope I can go here or there." Hope has lost its meaning and depth. People do not have true hope anymore, it is lost. We also place our hope in things that are temporary, and in things that will never satisfy us. We hope for all these things, but they never satisfy, they're never enough, and then we just continue to place our hope in more and more. I'm sure you've also heard of the term "high hopes" or "don't get your hopes too high." When the thing we hope in doesn't satisfy us, we are disappointed, feel like we hit rock bottom, and then the cycle starts all over again, we put our hope in something else. What if I told you that there is a hope that will forever satisfy and will never disappoint? We all have this hope now. The Ultimate Hope is Jesus Christ. He is our hope, forever, and always. He died on the cross for our sins, so that we could be forgiven, and live in eternity with Him in Heaven, if we believe in our hearts, and confess with our mouths that He is Lord. That is our hope and many people forget it. Many people think there is no hope for them, but there is, they can't see it. Sometimes we all feel this way, where we feel like everything is a disaster and we just can't get through it, we feel hopeless at times. You are never hopeless. When you feel that way remind yourself of the hope you have, and don't hold this hope for yourself, share it, spread it like a fire. Tell people "There's hope!" Tell every tongue, every nation, every tribe. Spread it and live it. Live with this hope to the fullest. You have this hope, so live like you do. Many people don't have this hope you have, so share it.
