The Start

I never thought I would become a writer. I always enjoyed writing, whether it was songs, stories, or letters. It wasn't until I realized I was posting lengthy Instagram stories that really were the length of a blog post or short essay. 

It was something I never thought I could do, to be honest. It made me nervous because I didn't know what would come of it. But I realized, God would use this space for whoever needs it and very often, God uses His words that I'm speaking to teach, encourage, and convict me. 

I originally had no clue how long this would last, me writing, me having a blog. I also had no clue how special it would become to me.

So, welcome. Welcome to a place where you can breathe for a second and be reminded of God and who He is. A place that does not hold back truth, even if its not easy to hear. I pray that this speaks to you too and God would use this as a place people feel safe to run to. Safe to take shelter and breathe from the world, for just a few moments. Safe to come to hear truth. To be encouraged and convicted. To spur you on in your relationship with God and help you know that's the most important thing in life.

This is just a place I write down and share what God is teaching me and laying on my heart to share. I am a person just like you; flawed, in need of grace- daily, growing, learning, and just trying my best to live my life for Him.
