The Difficult

Have you ever asked yourself or God why life is so hard? Or if life can be easier? Sometimes life is more difficult than usual or just difficult in general, maybe your life is just usually difficult. I know we all go through season, and days that are just difficult that we wish were easier. I know that it's easy to ask God to make life easier, but sometimes that's not what He has in store. Sometimes we just need to understand that difficult is not always bad. That God uses the difficult for so many purposes. I think something that's important to work at is being content in ALL situations (Philippians 4:12). This is a difficult, difficult, difficult thing. But it's so worth it! God walks us THROUGH the trials not OUT of. He still has us go through it, He doesn't just say oh you're struggling ok, I'll pull you out. No, He pulls us through it. He pulls us through it for many reasons, some being that He wants to grow us and teach us. And in our suffering, in our difficulties, HE UNDERSTANDS and sympathizes with us! He knows the struggle, He knows the difficult. He faced the Ultimate difficult and He faced all you have and will, He knows. I was praying the other day and I just felt like life was just hard and I asked "God can you just make life easier?" But the second I said it I was hit with such guilt and conviction, I realized that I don't and should never ask for life to be easier, but to ask Him to pull me through life, through the difficult, not just yank me out of it. To help me through the difficult and that if I cling to Him in the difficult it can become easier. (2 Corinthians 12:5-10) And to just be reminded of all of this was encouraging to me and I hope it really encourages you!
