Marveling Marvelously

I have this window in my room and I open the blinds every morning and look out of it. To most looking out that window every morning would become boring. This window has a tree when you look out of it and grass, but the cool thing to me is every morning something is different. The sky can be a different shade of blue, the clouds are different shapes, the wind blows at a different speed, different birds come and go, and new flowers grow. Nature to me is so beautiful, and I think, since we all live in it, we tend to overlook it. We encounter nature daily and nature tends to seem natural. But even though we live in it are you truly marveling at it? I encourage you to take a second just when you can to marvel at creation. I personally open my blinds and read my Bible. I really enjoy the natural lighting and sometimes while I am reading I will glance out my window and just marvel at it all. We are blessed with the lives we are given, and creation definitely shows us that. So, next time you're bored, doing something by a window, or outside, marvel at creation, whether it is inside or outside, in silence or with music. God likes us taking a step back and appreciating Him. When we marvel, He also likes to speak to us in those times.
