Each month, I decided that I am going to choose a word or phrase about God or about Him working in me. For March, I chose this word very early on, before this virus was even a big deal. This word is KNOWN. I like to look back on the word every so often to be reminded who God is and who I am in Him, I looked at it yesterday and that's the word. When I read this word, I needed it. And I think we all do. Known. I would just like to encourage and remind you that you are known, your life is known, and your situations are known, maybe not by you, but by Him. In order to know something, you need to understand the information you're given, which means if He knows you, He understands you as well. What rest!! This is a short post, but I thought it was much needed. He knows you and your situations, He knows how it will all play out, there is no need to fear. Even though it may be unknown to you, it is only unknown to you. It is not unknown to Him, but it is known, every detail, every situation, it is only unknown by you, it is known by Him. You see we say things like "there are so many unknowns in my life right now." And when we say that we often forget to consider and rest in the fact that He knows, just because we don't doesn't mean that He doesn't know either.

Is work different? Is work shut down for now? How does school look? Online the rest of the semester? Moving back home after moving away for college? Does frustration, confusion, and so many other emotions overwhelm you?

You are known, this includes your situations, and life. It's hard right now. Things are different, you're not sure how things are going to look in the next few weeks or months. But He knows and I promise you that He has a plan. He sees the full picture you only see a tiny little piece of it. It's like a puzzle, you have one puzzle piece, God has all the others and has the full picture, and with your one little puzzle piece you're trying to make that full picture, but you don't have any other pieces or even know what it's all supposed to look like at the end. Rest in the unknown because He knows. Surrender that one last puzzle piece to God and allow Him to put it all together. You are known in this time of unknown and uncertainty. You are known in this whirlwind of chaos.
