His Kingdom Now

We often think of God's Kingdom and Heaven as in the future, since we cannot physically see them right now. Heaven is a place we go to when we die in the future. But, right now, we need to be living to expand and further His Kingdom now. We may enter His Kingdom later, but the journey to it starts now, by loving and living like Christ, by accepting Him into our hearts, and confessing with our mouths that He is Lord. Jesus can come back at any time, we cannot live as if it will not happen while we are here on earth. He can come back now, live like it. Live everyday (if you don't already) with the goal of living like and for Him.

Live everyday to bring glory to God. Use what He has given you to further His Kingdom. "Sociologists tell us that even the most introverted individual will influence 10,000 other people in his or her lifetime."-John Maxwell. That is a lot of people, especially for the most introverted person. When Christ is most present in your life and you influence that many people(and most likely more, if you're not the most introverted person)... if they see Christ in you and the way you live for Him. Who knows? Maybe just by living like and for Him you influenced them towards Christ. So, His Kingdom is alive and active now. Act like it. He can come back any second. Live like it. Further His Kingdom now. Live for Him now. If someone had this truth that could save your life, and hid it from you and the rest of the world so only they knew, because they were afraid of others opinion of them if they shared this truth. Wouldn't you be upset? Wouldn't you want to know? Wouldn't you want a chance to live? So would I. So why hide this truth? Stop fearing man and their opinions of you.
