We always love when God gives us things right? But how do you deal with it when He takes things away and out of your life? I've had friends come and go, people I thought who would be in my life forever, were meant to just be there for a little while. I've noticed that I'm so happy when God gives me things, but when He takes friends, and things I love, and changes it all up on me... I'm upset. Are you ever thankful for the things He takes away or removes from your life? I'm gonna guess the answer is no, because I know how hard that is. But you see, these things He "takes away" He's really not taking away, because they were never ours to begin with. We think we have these things and they are ours... But everything we have is His, and we need to realize how special we are He granted us with that, whether it's forever, or for a little while. You never realize how special people and things are to you, until they're gone... Savor the time you have with the things you have, but don't make them your god. Everything on this earth is temporary. At times I feel like when friendships end with people it might be me, but then I realize... God's timing is perfect and so is His plan. It's not me, but it was their time to make their exit out of my life, and honestly I've seen God's provision here. His timing and plan have worked in perfect harmony for the best results for me and His glory this is with people and with things. There are people I miss... Like my grandma. But He gifted her to us for the time we had her and called her Home when her time on earth was done, she was never ours to hold forever, but His, and He graciously gifted Her to us. I'm not talking about people who die, but friendships that end, things like that. Death is not God's choice for us, but the consequence of sin. Without sin, there would be no death. Be thankful when things are given and removed. The removal of things in your life can sometimes be the best things that could've happened and you may never see that, but I promise you it's true. And trust God. If you trust Him to give you things, you need to also trust Him to take things. It's like you have this tiny teddy bear you can't part from and Gods trying to take it, and you just can't let go of your little bear, but little do you know God has a HUGE teddy bear waiting to hand you, you just need to let go. You just need to let go, He has a big plan, that you can't even fathom. Be ok with the removal it may be painful for a moment, but trust the process, trust the God who gives you your next heartbeat, who makes the flowers grow, and tells the birds when to chirp. You're trusting God every second, you're trusting Him to keep you alive, and there will be a day where you're not, but that doesn't mean your trust in Him should fail. But as long as you're still breathing and even past that... Trust. God.
