Fighting From Victory

We live in a world and time where evil seems to be winning. It's hard to live and witness all of these awful things take place. From abortions, to churches accepting and embracing sin, to all of the horrendous strife and troubles in Afghanistan, and there's so much more. It is so easy to get wrapped up in all of these things and allow fear, stress, and anxiety rule our emotions. When I look to the world all I see is chaos and fear. I can't imagine living in this world, watching it all fall apart, and having nothing to place my hope in. You see, through our eyes, we see a glimpse. A glimpse of the whole picture. To the world, and our flesh, evil is winning, we are a lost cause, and we have no hope. But because we do have Hope. We know Jesus wins. His name is POWER, He is POWER. He makes darkness tremble, enemies flee, sickness leave, death be defeated, chains break, He overcomes. He overcomes it all, He HAS overcome it all. So don't look to the world, because the devil wants you to think evil is winning, that there is no hope. But no, Jesus wins. Evil has no chance. Jesus has already won. God has a plan for it all. He uses EVIL for GOOD, we see this in Genesis 50:20. God has a plan and it includes Jesus' victory. That doesn't make it any easier to face these things, but these are the beginning of birth pains, wars and rumors of wars are NECESSARY and the end is still to come. JESUS. WINS.

You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains. -Matthew 24:6-8

So, we have Hope, in a hopeless world. Share that Hope. Know that these hard things are necessary and they will make the end, the victory, Jesus' coming, all the sweeter. One of my favorite quotes from Tony Evans is, "We are fighting FROM victory, not for it." Jesus already won. We are fighting FROM victory. Have faith and hope in the only One who satisfies, Jesus Christ.

Remember there is more to come. These worldly things are not the end, Jesus is the end.

"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End." Revelations 22:13
