Fear has no grip

We all fear something. It can be big, it can be little, but we all have something we fear. God gave us a good fear... like if you're being chased after a bear... you should run and you don't want to get bit. But when we fear things happening in our lives such as situations and changes, that is not what He wants us to fear. He wants us to only fear Him. Our fear captures, prohibits, and chains us. Jesus died so that we could be FREE when we fear we are chaining ourselves, we are not allowing ourselves to be free, but fear holds us captive. Fear hinders us from trusting God. If we knew He had control and trusted Him, we wouldn't fear. We trust the brakes in our car will work, we don't fear that they won't work. We are no longer a slave to fear. Our fears do not define us. Our fears do not control us. Our fears should hold nothing on us. You are a Child of God. Do not let fear rob you from your joy, worth, life, trust, and freedom. Fear has no grip on you anymore if you trust God and give Him complete control.
