Every Moment

To know He is involved in all moments is so comforting. Sometimes I feel like no one knows what I'm going through or no one hears or understands, which we all go through at some point, but He is always there in every moment, good and bad, joys and struggles. He is there. He isn't just with me in every moment, but walks through every moment with me. He's walking with me. Sometimes I just need to hear that He is walking with me not just that He is there. So comforting and something so important to me cause He's not just there. He's bearing the burdens and celebrating the joys with me. He doesn't just stand there, it's I'm walking this with you, you're not alone, I'm not leaving, not stopping. And that's who I desire to be for my friends, not just someone who stands and watches, but says I'm here for you, to walk with you. To celebrate, to cry, to endure, to suffer, to finish, to rest, to rejoice, and to mourn, because that's what He did and does. How great is He?! He's there every moment, doesn't miss one.

These are some of my favorite lyrics right now. He doesn't leave us in the midst of our failures, doesn't leave us in the muck and the mire, but picks us up when we fall, takes our hand in our failures and guides us. Yes. He even and especially is in the failing moments we have. He follows us in our failures, in our struggles and walks us out the other side. We trip, we fall, we stumble, and we fail through life, but He doesn't leave us like that, we aren't left in it. At times we pause and we look and we say "I'm all alone." Sometimes when we feel this way it's because we've run too far ahead, too far off track, because we were trying to do things on our own, because we dismissed His guidance. Sometimes our failures, our mistakes are the things that allow Him to show us the best of Him. He's good even when life isn't, He's constant even when life isn't, He's peace even when life isn't. He's in every moment, not only in every moment, but involved in every moment, even when no one else is.
